My Missing Friend In The City

I put forth my hands to embrace,
Only to find you slip off my gaze.
Needed you to comfort me,
Seems you don't care for all that I plea.

Tears run down,
Leaving my pretty face stained.
Structured with a frown,
Deeply I was pained.
Life was miserable,
Nothing seemed feasible.
Think it's a hopeless world,
Or else why does it appear so burred?

Lord! I'm in such a dilemma,
Can't you solve it for me, Emma?
But you aren't here, it's such a pity,
Couldn't you be my missing friend in the city?
